Blackpool puts their best foot forward for charity walk

October 21st, 2019

More than 50 walkers – including a team from our Blackpool practice, together with their families and friends – stepped up to take part in this year’s Three Piers charity event, and raised more than £3,000 for our client, N-Vision.

N-Vision, the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Society for the Blind, works with more than 2,200 people living with sight loss across multiple local boroughs. It runs various community services, digital coaching events, a Low Vision Centre, sight loss support, the Talking Newspaper Service and more – including residential and respite accommodation at the Princess Alexandra Home in Blackpool.

The charity’s annual Three Piers event includes the option to run or walk the three, five or six mile stretch, which loops the distance between each of Blackpool’s iconic South, Central or North Pier.

Abby Newby, fundraiser at N-Vision, said: “This year’s 3 Piers Walk was our most successful yet and enjoyed by all. We are so grateful to the team at Champion Accountants, Blackpool, who have supported this event for the past three years.”
