Research & Development (R&D)

Launched in 2000, Research & Development (R&D) Tax Relief allows business owners to claim relief on their Corporation Tax liability. The government-run scheme supports SMEs working on innovative projects, by allowing them to save up to £43.70 for every £100 spent on qualifying activities.

For an activity to qualify for R&D relief it must meet certain criteria. However, many companies perform qualifying activities daily, without knowing. In fact, something as simple adapting internal processes could qualify for a tax break.

Take a look at the sections below for more information on how our experienced R&D advisers can help with your claim.
